Plot Summary: This is an alternate retelling of the 1999 series by the same name. Gon Freece is a boy who has grown up on a small island. He learns that his father; whom he doesn’t remember, is an extremely famous man known far and wide as a great hunter. Following in his foathers footsteps, Gon takes the hunter exam to put him on the track to find his father, but he soon learns that the challenges he must face through this ordeal will be beyond his wildest imagination.
